Greetings:
I am interested in taking an intensive summer language program in
either Quichua (of Ecuador) or Bolivian Quechua, but preferably
Quichua - in preparation for doctoral dissertation research. The
only info I have right now is that U. Chicago is offering a course
this summer on Quechua of Cuzco. I am looking for info on other
universities in the U.S. that would offer Quichua or Bolivian
Quechua. Any information would help, so if you know something
please respond.
Thanks much.
Robert Andolina

Cornell teaches Bolivian Quechua. Pittsburgh has a Quechua-speaking
prof. Margot Beyersdorff in Austin, TX would be an ideal contact for
you; she herself is a Quechua scholar. But why not go for Cerro'n-
Palomino at the Cato'lica in Lima? He does much with comparative
issues in Quechua variants.
