Subject: place to find small quilled medicine wheels
To ALL:
I live in Old Town, Maine, and work with the Boy Scouts (Order of the
Arrow, OA). I have some scouts that I have been working with on the
ceremonies team. They will do their first OA ceremony in three
weeks--I think they are ready and will do a good job.
Anyway, I would like to give them something special (as I have done in
the past) to add to their ceremonial costuming. When I lived "down
south" in NC I would give a small porky quilled medicine wheel to each
boy and give them the legend behind the medicine wheel. I suppose what
I am asking is if 1) anyone has ideas for different "gifts" and 2) does
anyone know of a place to purchase such gifts on short notice??
Thanks in advance for any and all responses.
